Cleaning
Cleaning the spray gun.
WARNING! Risk of injury! Do not use hal-
ogen-based solvents for cleaning as they
can cause chemical reactions.
NOTICE! Risk of environmental damage!
Note that cleaning agents and spray resi-
dues must be discarded in a pro-environ-
mental manner. Always heed the safety
instructions of the paint manufacturer.
NOTICE! Risk of environmental damage!
Always spray cleaning agents into a closed
container so that the cleaning agent is
retained and no unnecessary vapours occur.
NOTICE! Risk of product damage! Do not
immerse the spray gun into the cleaning
agent.
Note: Do not use any silicone-based clean-
ing agents or lubricants. Silicone-based
products can impair varnishes and paints.
– Flush the suction cup and fill with a suitable clean-
ing agent.
– Press the trigger and flush through the spray gun
thoroughly.

– Press and hold down the unlocking button (3) and
pull out the spray gun.

– Loosen cap nuts (7).

– Remove nozzle head (1).

– Remove nozzle insert (11).
– Clean spray gun and parts using a suitable clean-
ing agent.

– Reassemble the spray gun in reverse order.
Cleaning the air filter
NOTICE! Risk of product damage! Never
operate product without an air filter.
The air filter must be replaced if it is dam-
aged or badly contaminated.

– Fold out the cover (12) as shown.

– Remove the air filter (13).
– Clean the air filter in warm water (with a little
detergent).
– Rinse the air filter with clear water.
– Allow the air filter to dry completely.
– Insert a clean or new air filter.
Storage and transport
Storage
• Store the device and any accessories in a dry,
well-ventilated place.
• In case of longer periods without operation, pro-
tect the device and its accessories against soiling
and corrosion.
Transport
• Use the original packaging to ship whenever pos-
sible.
Troubleshooting
If something doesn't work...
WARNING! Risk of injury! Improper
repairs can result in the product functioning
unsafely. This endangers yourself and your
environment.
Malfunctions are often caused by minor faults. You
can easily remedy most of these yourself. Please
consult the following table before contacting the ven-
dor. You will save yourself a lot of trouble and possibly
money too.
Remedy
Check cable, plug, socket and fuse.
Contact your local vendor.
Add a suitable thinner (► Diluting the
paint – p. 30).

Firmly insert uptake tube.
