GB
• Pay close attention to any hazards caused by
the sprayed product. Observe the markings
on the container or the manufacturers' infor-
mation on the sprayed product, including the
instruction to use personal protective equip-
ment. The manufacturers' instructions must be
followed in order to reduce the risk of fire, as well
as injuries caused by toxins, carcinogens, etc.
• Never spray without fitting the spray nozzle.
The use of a special nozzle insert and the match-
ing nozzle head reduces the likelihood of a high-
pressure jet penetrating the skin and injecting tox-
ins into the body.
• Use only spray inserts approved by the manu-
facturer. The use of an approved nozzle insert
reduces the likelihood of a high-pressure jet pen-
etrating the skin and toxins being injected into the
body.
• Caution when cleaning and changing nozzle
inserts. If the nozzle insert becomes blocked
during the spraying operation, follow the man-
ufacturers' instructions for switching off and
relieving the pressure before removing the
nozzle for cleaning. Liquids under high-pres-
sure can penetrate the skin, inject toxins into the
body and hence cause serious injury.
• Keep the mains cable plug and the spray gun
trigger switch free of paint and other liquids.
Never hold the cable to support the plug con-
nections. Failure to comply can result in electric
shock.
• Spray work around water or on adjoining
areas in the immediate vicinity is not permit-
ted. Make sure when buying paints, lacquers and
spraying agents that they are environmentally-
friendly.
• Make sure, when diluting, that the spray mate-
rial and thinner are compatible. Using an
incorrect thinner can cause lumps that will clog
the spray gun.
• Make sure there is adequate lighting when work-
ing with the product.
• Make sure you are standing firmly and that you
have a natural posture when working.
• The On-Off switch must be released when the
power supply is interrupted in order to prevent
abrupt restart when the power supply is restored.
• Never insert tips and/or metallic objects into the
product.
• Remember that moving parts may also be located
behind ventilation and venting slots.
• Symbols appearing on your product must not be
removed or covered. Signs on the product that
are no longer legible must be replaced immedi-
ately.
Read and observe the instructions for use
before using the product for the first time.

Preparatory work
NOTICE! Risk of environmental damage!
Spray work around water or on adjoining
areas in the immediate vicinity is not permit-
ted.
Preparing spray surfaces
Note: Thoroughly cover the area surround-
ing the spray surface.
The spray surface must be clean, dry and
grease-free.
– Roughen smooth surfaces and then remove the
abrasive dust.
Diluting the paint
NOTICE! Risk of product damage! Make
sure, when diluting, that the spray material
and thinner are compatible.
Note: To achieve good results, check the
used paint for its viscosity and dilute as
required.
Checking the paint's viscosity
► P. 3, fig. 2
– Fill the viscosity measuring cup (9) with paint and
allow paint to flow back into the paint container;
measure the outflow time.
– Compare the measured outflow time with the data
in the table below. If the outflow time differs, the
used paint must be diluted accordingly.
