4.2 Personal safety
4 .2 .1 Must wear approved personal protective equipment, including, but not
limit to protective helmet, protective goggles or a visor, hearing protection
equipment, whenever operating the drill rig .
4.2.2 Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication .
4 .2 .3 Dress Properly . Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry . Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts . Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair
can be caught in moving parts .
4 .2 .4 Never work alone, always ensure there is another person close at hand .
Apart from being able to receive help to assemble the drill rig, you can also get
help if an accident should occur .
4 .2 .5 Never use a drill rig that is faulty . Carry out the checks maintenance and
service instructions described in this manual . Some maintenance and service
measures must be carried out by trained and quali ed personnel .
4 .2 .6 Keep the drill rig out of reach of children and store the power tool and
stand in dry and frost-free conditions .
