stacking, compression, prolonged exposure to sunlight, abrasion or contamination
during transport is to be banned. It is recommended to replace your helmet after
a lifespan of 5 years.
• ADJUSTMENT AND SIZING: In order to ensure optimal protection, the helmet
size should best fit the user's head circumference or be adjusted accordingly. Do
not overlook the time required to achieve the optimal fit. When you choose a new
helmet, check that your head is well fitted into the helmet, the top of the field of
vision being positioned above the eyebrows. With the chinstrap and clamping system
properly tightened, make sure the helmet does not move too much side to side
and up and down. You should feel your skin pulling on your head and face when
you move the helmet. If not, the chosen helmet is too big, so try a smaller size. The
chinstrap must be adjusted and properly fastened. To adjust the chinstrap, loosen
it at the buckle, then snap it into place and pull the strap tightly under the chin.
To loosen, squeeze the sides between thumb and forefinger. A properly adjusted
chinstrap should prevent the helmet from being removed from the front or back.
• REPAIR / REPAIRABILITY: in case of shock and doubt about the integrity of
your helmet, stop using it. Indeed, it may have been damaged without you realizing
it and no longer provide the necessary protection.
