• Check whether pressure has built up in
the compressed air system.
• Check whether the compress air connec-
tion and the pressure pipes are tight.
Compressed air supply
NOTICE! Risk of product damage!
Only operate the device with cleaned,
condensate-free and oil-atomised
compressed air.
• Fittings and hoses must be designed in
accordance with the pressure and the
required air quantity.
• Always use a compressed air mainte-
nance unit with a filter pressure reducer
and oil-mist lubricator.
– Plug the compressed air hose into the
plug-in coupling and allow to engage
firmly (► P. 3, fig. 2).

work on the device, disconnect the
compressed air supply.
The device can be operated only with clamps
(permissible size ranges: ► Usable fasten-
ers – p. 27).
– Unlock and open magazine with lever (4).
– Place fasteners as shown and close mag-
azine again. Fasteners are properly
places, if the magazine can be opened
without resistance.
Stapling

rebound exists while driving in hard
materials and in case of longer fas-
teners.
Keep device sufficiently away from
the workpiece surface and replace
only then, when driving process is
desired.

Note: For direct lubrication of the
device or for addition to the com-
pressed air maintenance unit we rec-
ommend motor oil SAE 10 or SAE 20.
– Regularly instil oil into the hose connec-
tion (3).
Remove jammed fasteners

– Unlock and open magazine with lever (4).
– Remove fastener.
– Close the magazine again.
Storage and transport
Storage
• Store the device and any accessories in a
dry, well-ventilated place.
• In case of longer periods without opera-
tion, protect the device and its accesso-
ries against soiling and corrosion.
Transport
• Use the original packaging to ship when-
ever possible.
