Electronic control of rotational speed
NOTICE! Risk of machine damage! The
motor can overheat when running at low
speeds under continuous heavy load. Cool
off the motor by running at high speed with-
out a load.
The appliance is equipped with an electronic rota-
tional speed control.
The rotational speed is infinitely adjustable (Rota-
tional speed range: ► Technical data – p. 31).
– Turning the speed regulator (4) clockwise
increases the rotational speed.
– Turning the speed regulator anticlockwise
decreases the rotational speed.
Grinding/sanding
DANGER! Risk of death through electric
shock! The machine must only be used for
dry sanding.
Note: When working vertical surfaces, hold
the device in such a manner that the dust
sack faces downward.
Note: Excess pressure does not result in
improved sanding performance, but
increases the wear on the appliance and the
sanding sheet.
– Clamp in the workpiece or hold it firmly.
– Switch on the product and press it against the sur-
face to be sanded applying even pressure.
– Always use constant motion and only use light
pressure.
