SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION FOR USE
• The product requires a power supply of 220 – 240 V ~ 50 Hz. Please check that the appropriate
power supply is available before use.
• Be sure to disconnect the power supply before dismantling/reassembling or adjusting the
product.
• To avoid danger in the event of damage to the appliance, please contact our Customer Service
team or send the appliance to one of our authorised service centres for repair. Do not attempt
to replace parts without our authorisation.
• All parts that come into contact with food comply with the relevant food hygiene regulations.
• Never switch on the appliance unless there is liquid in the tank.
• Place the appliance on a dry, level surface at least 20 cm away from any walls.
• Do not use the appliance in close proximity to a hob, hot oven or other heat sources.
• CAUTION, RISK OF BURNS! Only touch the appliance by its handles or using the control dial.
Because of its design, the appliance has little insulation and gets hot on the outside during use.
GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION – ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
• WARNING! Read all of the safety information and instructions. Failure to follow the safety
information and instructions may lead to electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
• Ensure that water cannot get inside the appliance. Never immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids. Never expose it to rain.
• Do not use the appliance if the mains plug, power cord or any other part of the appliance is
defective or damaged.
• Do not use the appliance if it has previously been dropped.
• Do not use the appliance if there are visible signs of damage.
• Do not remove the power plug from the socket by pulling on the power cord.
• Never insert or remove the power plug with wet hands.
• This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions from them on how to use
the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not use any electrical appliances in potentially explosive environments e.g. in the presence
of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Electrical appliances produce sparks that can ignite dust or
exhaust fumes.
• Do not use the appliance in connection with a separate control timer, a separate remote control
system or other devices that automatically switch the appliance on.
• Keep children and other people away while you are operating the electrical appliance.
Distractions may lead to loss of control.
