OVERHEATING PROTECTION
NOTE: If the mulled wine warmer overheats because there is too little or no liquid being heated,
the overheating protection built into the base switches the appliance off automatically. Proceed
as follows:
• Press the on/off switch so it is set to 'O' and unplug the appliance.
• Leave the appliance to cool down.
• Press the reset button on the underside of the mulled wine warmer.
• You can now plug the mains plug back in and the appliance is ready for use again.
NOTE: The overheating protection may trigger when the appliance is moved. If this happens, press
the reset button.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Pull out the mains plug and pour out any remaining liquid. Allow the appliance to cool down
completely before cleaning or maintenance work. The appliance must be cleaned thoroughly after
each use.
• Clean the tank, lid and the exterior with a soft cloth; do not use any harsh cleaning agents.
• Particular attention must be paid to regularly removing residue from the centre of the urn. If
necessary, descale the appliance using a commercially available descaler.
• Carefully clean the liquid outlet with a fine brush.
Check all of the parts for signs of wear. Do not continue to use the product if you find any defects.
Parts should only be replaced with original spare parts, and by an expert, in accordance with the
manufacturer's specifications. A lack of care and maintenance can damage the appliance.
Dangerous situations can arise. Regular maintenance helps to ensure the safety of the product
and increases its service life.
