Never alter or tamper with a Globestock WINCH.

The Globestock WINCH can only be used to raise or lower one person at a time.
2.1. TRAINING
It is essential that users are fully aware of how this equipment operates and how it should be used.

It is the responsibility of the user of this product to familiarise themselves with the content of this user manual.

Users must be adequately trained by a competent person in the use, inspection, and maintenance of this
product.
•
Both the winch operator and the person being raised / lowered must be adequately trained in the use of this
equipment.
2.2. RESCUE PLAN
This product has been developed to enable the safe access and egress of personnel in confined spaces.
It is recommended that the Globestock WINCH is used in conjunction with a SAVER (or

equivalent) fall arrest and retrieval device when it is being used to raise or lower personnel.
