IMPORTANT: An excess of oil could impede the operation of the bender.
Use oil for hydraulic applications such as the HL or HM type with an ISO kinematic viscosity grade of 30
cSt at 40ºC, or Engler viscosity from 3 to 50º C.
VERY IMPORTANT: Never use brake fluid.

Troubleshooting
1. If the plunger does not move forward:
Insufficient oil.
The check valve is not closed
properly.
The system has air.
2. If the plunger moves forward with no load, however does not with load:
The check valve is not closed
properly.
Foreign body in the suction valve.
3. If the plunger moves forward, however stops before the end of the stroke:
Very low oil level.
4. If the plunger moves forward and moves backwards with each pump blow:
Foreign body in the exhaust valve
or air in the conduits.
Foreign body in the suction valve.
5. If the plunger moves forward properly with load, however moves the lever backwards brusquely:
Foreign body in the check valve.

Repair
Both the maintenance and repair of this bender must be performed by qualified personnel who, by
virtue of their training and experience, have knowledge of the hydraulic systems used in these devices.
Check the oil level.
Close the check valve.
Open the return and operate the pump lever until bleeding. To do
so, position the unit with the plunger upwards so that the oil goes
down to the distributor.
Close the check valve.
Disassemble the suction valve and clean it thoroughly, having made
the plunger move backwards beforehand.
Top up the oil level.
Position the cylinder vertically, and move the plunger backwards
beforehand. Disassemble the exhaust valve and clean it.
Disassemble the suction valve and clean it, having made the plunger
move backwards beforehand.
Disassemble the check valve and clean it, having made the plunger
move backwards beforehand.
