Use and operation
Before using the bender, the air from the
valve system has to be eliminated. To this
end, open release valve No. 3 rotating
the knob anti-clockwise. With the help of
the lever, proceed to pump several times
(pictogram a).
Close the release valve again by rotating
knob No. 3 clockwise. As of now, the bender
is ready for operation (pictogram b).
Ensure that you use the former corresponding
to the pipe to be bent and that the pivot pipe
supports are positioned correctly. To this end,
use the corresponding marks as a guide.
Once the pipe has been bent, and to
ensure that it remains free, rotate release
valve No. 3 anti-clockwise. The piston will
automatically return to its pick-up position
(pictogram c).
Once the work has been completed, keep
the device with the main piston and that of
the pump retracted.

Maintenance
Periodically grease the shafts and the moving parts of the bender.
Always keep the bender clean and protected from aggressive environments.
The volume of oil required for the 2" bender is 950 cm
Check the oil level periodically.
Top up the oil taking particular care in filtering it to prevent the ingress of foreign bodies. The
verification of the oil will be performed by raising the front part of the unit approximately 45º, and
observing that the oil reaches the level of the oil filling hole.
Once the oil has been topped up, position the unit at a sloping, almost vertical, angle (plunger upwards),
open the check valve and operate the pump lever until suction is checked correctly.
After a short time in this position and checking the suction correctly, adjust to the horizontal operating
position.
In the event of having to top up oil, do so using oil for hydraulic applications of first class quality and
never with brake fluid. Take into account that an excess would render the equipment inoperable.
