Safety
a. Read the instructions before using the bender.
b. Only use this bender with pipes according to the Standards DIN 2440 and 2441. If using a
tripod, it must be supported on a firm, even and horizontal surface. Ensure that the set is
balanced and stable.
c. When operating the device, do not insert your fingers or any part of your body in the
bending device.
d. As a safety measure, the bender has an overpressure valve No. 11, which has been factory
tared to its maximum operating pressure. This valve must not be manipulated under any
circumstances.
e. This is a device designed exclusively for bending pipes and, as such, must not be used for
other applications.
f. The non-observance of these essential safety rules can injure the user or damage the bender
or pipe.

Scope of use
The SUPER-EGO hydraulic bender enables cold bending up to 180º (in three phases comprised of 60º
each), of heavy and/or semi-heavy steel pipes, welded or unwelded, suitable for threads according to
DIN-2440 (10255 medium series) and/or DIN-2441 (10255 heavy series), manufactured in construction
steel St 33-1, according to DIN-17100 and a black or galvanised finish. See table. These are pipes for
general structural use in construction, plumbing, etc.
Do not use the SUPER-EGO bender for thin wall pipes, stainless steel pipes, chrome-plated pipes, exhaust
pipes, precision pipes, etc. since this can damage the pipes.
