We recommend installing a check valve between the pump and suction line, so that the

We recommend using a suction filter for better suction performance.
Operation
The pump and suction line must be connected and filled. (Models TPS-360 and TPS-450)
Danger of damage to the equipment
The pump must not be allowed to run dry. Sufficient conveying medium (water) must be
guaranteed at all times.

If the equipment is installed directly in the domestic network, it is important to take into
account that the water pressure in this circuit is added to the pump pressure. The total

The boiler includes a rubber bellows, which is under air pressure set by the manufacturer (pre-

fill pressure, technical data - page 21); this allows for the removal of small water quantities
without starting the pump. Check the pressure before operating the pump and increase it if
necessary (increase of the prefill pressure– page 20). The pump must not receive direct sun
radiation since, under given circumstances, it may result in too high a pressure.
1. Plug in the mains plug.
2. Open the pressure line (turn on water spigot or nozzle).
3. Turn the pump on with the On-Off switch
4. Check that water is coming out.
If the motor does not start up or the pump does not build up any pressure or if similar faults occur, turn the
device off and try to remedy the error (Faults and troubleshooting - page 12).
The pump is provided with a pressure switch. This starts the pump up if the pressure drops below the start-
up pressure due to water removal.
The pressure switch stops the pump when the stop pressure is reached.

1. Unscrew the pump cover.
2. Fill completely with water.
3. Reinstall the filter, screw the pump cover closing airtight.
4. If you want to shorten the intake time, fill the suction line as well.
5. Open the pressure line (turn on water spigot or nozzle), so that air can
escape during intake.
6. Switch the equipment on.
7. When water runs out, turn the device off.
