When charging is complete, unplug the charger (15) from the mains outlet and
disconnect the charger jack (15) from the charging port (4).
Note:
■
The battery is delivered partially charged. Charge the battery completely before using
the appliance for the first time.
■
The voltage of the power supply must correspond with the technical specifications on
the charger label.
■
The appliance can be placed on the storage base (16) during charging.
Attaching / Removing attachment heads
To attach: Insert the lower part of the attachment (5, 6, 7 or 8) onto the trimmer head slot and
then press the attachment until it locks in place (Fig. 1).
To remove: Hold the top of the trimmer with one hand while holding the bottom of the trimmer
with the other hand. Press the front side of the attachment (5, 6, 7 or 8) with your thumb
towards the rear of the trimmer to remove it (Fig. 2).

Note: Always switch the appliance off before adjusting the cutting length or removing/
attaching an accessory (5 to 13).
Attaching / Removing comb attachments
To attach: Slide the hair comb (10, 11, 12 or 13) at an angle on the blades of the hair
trimmer (5) and press the comb until it snaps into place. Ensure the cutting length button
(1) is set to its initial position before using the appliance. Note: Ensure the lower part of the
comb is locked in place before use.
To remove: Pull the tab on the lower part of the hair comb (10, 11, 12 or 13) to detach and
remove it from the hair trimmer (5).
Note: Always switch the appliance off before adjusting the cutting length or removing/
attaching an accessory (5 to 13).
Turning the trimmer on/off
Power on: Press the ON/OFF switch (2).
Power off: Press the ON/OFF switch (2) again.

Switch the appliance off.

Slide the cutting length button (1) to set the cutting length to the desired setting.
