Trimming ear and/or nose

1.
Switch the appliance off.
2.
Insert the ear and nose trimmer (6) onto the trimmer head slot (→ATTACHING /
REMOVING ATTACHMENT HEADS). Ensure that it clicks into place.
3.
Switch the appliance on.
4.
Gently insert the trimmer into your ear or nostril.
5.
Gently move the appliance in and out of your ear or nostril in a rotating movement.
Caution: Avoid inserting the cutting unit more than 6 mm into your nostril or ear.
Shaving beard and/or moustache
1.
Switch the appliance off.
2.
Insert the shaving foil (7) onto the trimmer head slot (→ATTACHING / REMOVING
ATTACHMENT HEADS). Ensure that it clicks into place.
3.
Switch the appliance on.
Note: Stretch your skin with your free hand to encourage hair to stand upright and make it
easier to shave.
Trimming beard and/or moustache
1.
Switch the appliance off.
2.
Insert the beard trimmer (8) onto the trimmer head slot (→ATTACHING / REMOVING
ATTACHMENT HEADS). Ensure that it clicks into place.
3.
Trimming with beard comb: Slide the comb (9) onto the beard trimmer (8). Slide
the comb over the blades to the maximum trimming length position and switch the
appliance on. As you become familiar, slide the comb to a shorter trimming length.
4.
Trimming without beard comb: Remove the comb (9) from the beard trimmer (8). Switch
the appliance on. Make careful and controlled movements. Use the beard trimmer
without the comb to define hair lines and trim or remove single, unwanted hairs.
Caution: Using the beard trimmer (8) without the comb will remove every hair it touches.
Trimming hair
1.
Switch the appliance off.
2.
Insert the hair trimmer (5) onto the trimmer head slot (→ATTACHING / REMOVING
ATTACHMENT HEADS). Ensure that it clicks into place.
3.
Trimming with hair comb: Attach the comb (10, 11, 12 or 13) onto the hair trimmer (5)
(→ATTACHING / REMOVING COMB ATTACHMENTS). Always start with the cutting
length button (1) set to its initial position to avoid accidentally trimming hair too short. As
you become familiar, select a shorter length setting.
4.
Trimming without hair comb: Remove the comb (10, 11, 12 or 13) from the hair trimmer
(5) (→ATTACHING / REMOVING COMB ATTACHMENTS). Switch the appliance on.
Make careful and controlled movements. Use the trimmer without the comb to define
hair lines and trim or remove single, unwanted hairs.
Caution: Using the hair trimmer (5) without the comb will remove every hair it touches.
