You can also stop just before the stock slips off the drive wheel,
and reverse the direction you rotate the handle.
5.
Turn the adjustment knob clockwise once or twice to increase the
curve' s depth and run the stock through the ring roller again. Continue
until you have reached the desired curve.
6.
You can continue until the stock has looped around on itself to create a
ring. When this occurs, you can either:
a.
Remove the stock as you will curve the ends via another method.
b.
Continue curving the stock and pulling one end aside to run
parallel with the stock in the ring roller until the straight ends no
longer overlap. You can then cut off the ends to connect the
curved section. You will need to bend the ring to bring the ends
back together.
7.
Loosen the adjustment knob to free the ring from the rollers.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
1.
Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier
to control and will have fewer problems.
2.
Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace damaged or
worn components. Only use identical replacement parts when
servicing.
3.
Maintain the tool' s labels and name plates. These carry important
information. If unreadable or missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for
replacements.
WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the tool. An
improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the user and/or others.
LUBRICATION
Inspect and lubricate the tool when required. Apply grease to the zerk
fitting on the upper drive wheel, the lower drive wheel and the adjustment
wheel.
Apply a thin coat of lubricant to the steel parts to avoid rust, when not in
use for an extended period. Remove the lubricant before using the tool
again.
