ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
1.
Mount the tool on a pedestal or workbench. You must secure the tool
in order to use it.
a.
Check that that there are no obstructions when rotating the
handle before mounting the planetary ring roller.
b.
Make sure there is enough space on either side of the tool to
accommodate the full length of the longest piece of steel you
intend to bend.
2.
Push the handle' s socket end over the gear shaft. Align the bolt hole in each.
3.
Insert the tapered pin into the handle and gear shaft bolt holes. Tap the
pin into place to secure the handle.
MOUNT THE PLANETARY RING ROLLER ON A PEDESTAL
1.
The hardware to mount tool is not included. The pedestal must be
secured to the floor to prevent it from tipping over.
2.
Align the tool' s mounting bolt holes with the corresponding pedestal holes.
3.
Slide a flat washer over a 1/4-20 x 1 in. hex head bolt and insert
through base and pedestal holes.
4.
Slide a 1/4 in. flat washer over the end of the bolt and screw a 1/4-20 in.
hex nut onto the bolt end. Tighten until the space between the tool' s
base and pedestal is 1/8 in.
5.
Screw a second nut onto the bolt and secure against the first. This will
prevent them from loosening due to the tool' s vibration.
6.
Repeat steps 2 to 5 for the other bolt hole.
