• The hob is equipped with overheating protection. If the cookware
becomes too hot, the appliance switches off automatically and the
message "E5" or "E6" appears on the display. Wait a few minutes and let
the hob cool down if the appliance gets too hot. The appliance is then
free to be used again without problem.
Do not touch the hot surfaces during and after use. The hob heats
up intensely and reaches high temperatures - it poses a burn risk.
Setting the output
For model IH301BTA, the hob can be set from 200 W up to 2000 W.
• Press the output button. The watt indicator will light up. The "1200"
message will appear on the display when suitable cookware is placed
on the hob.
• Touch the +/- buttons to increase or decrease the output.

For model IH60BT/IH60BT-UK, the hob can be set from 200 W to 2000 W.
• Press the booster button. The watt indicator will light up. "2000" will
appear on the display if you have placed suitable cookware on the hob
zone.
• Touch the +/- buttons to increase or decrease the output.
