2.0 Layout and location of hole:
2.1 See SPACING in Step 1.5.
NOTE: Drill the holes at least 6" away from any wall or pillar allowing
enough room for the installation of the Poke-Through and Cover.
Three gang recessed poke-through that can be adapted for multiple
configurations.

3.0 Drill hole in floor:
3.1 Install or cut hole from Carpet, Wood, Tile or Linoleum Floor. Use template
provided with cover instructions. (Poke-Through may be installed directly
on concrete floor if no finished floor is planned).
3.2 Core Drill a 6" Diameter Hole. Actual hole size may be up to 61/8" diameter
due to drill bit and job site construction tolerance (see Figure 3).

4.0 Configure junction box for installation:
Recommended: Configure junction box for dual service or single service
before inserting the poke-through into hole.
Important: Power and data wires must be separated by a voltage divider.
Select a CONFIGURATION for desired installation requirements.
4.1 Remove the (3) Junction Box Covers from the bottom of the Junction Box
by removing the (6) screws as shown (see Figure 4).
4.2 Select from (4) possible junction box configurations: See Figures 5, 6, 7,
and 8. NOTE: There are (3) (12 AWG) ground wires in the Junction Box.
Leave the ground wires in place. Use a (10 AWG) ground wire if 30A device
is used, see Step 5.1.3.
4.3 Replace the bottom (3) Junction Box Covers using 6 screws removed in
Step 4.1. (see Figure 4)

Dual Service
Leave both dividers secured inside the Junction Box. Each gang will be
serviced by a Junction Box compartment. A conduit connection is required
for each compartment that will be powered. Use any of the (3)
Compartments for Power or Data.

Break-off one knockout of each divider as shown. Insert power wiring
tunnel into the bottom of the Junction Box. Use the (2) Side
Compartments for Power and Center Gang for Data.
