Avoid operating the equipment in wet grass, where
feasible.
Walk! Never run!
Pay maximum attention when turning around and
pulling the appliance to you.
Switch the mower o whenever carrying or inclining it
or when being outside a grass area. Wait until all rotating
parts have stopped.
If an undesirable item is encountered or the appliance
starts vibrating, the appliance must be switched o and
the socket plug removed. Check whether the appliance
is not damaged. Repair any damage.
Switch the appliance immediately o after nishing your
work.
Never remove the collection bag when the machine is
being operated. Always switch the machine o before
attaching or removing the collection bag.
Do not store the appliance in enclosed places just after
being switched o but let it cool down outdoors instead.
Never keep the unit with petrol in the tank inside a
building where petrol vapours could get in contact with
open re or sparks.
When the appliance is not going to be used for a long
time, store it with an empty tank.
Replace any defective mu er.
Do not change the controlled engine setting and do not
rev the engine up.

Be sure to have a rm footing, particularly on slopes.
Do not work on too steep slopes. Be particularly careful
when changing travelling direction on slopes.

to be used and remove all objects that could get caught
or thrown o by the appliance such as stones, branches,

Start the motor carefully in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions and ensure that you keep
your feet a su cient distance away from the tool(s). Ne-
ver place your hands or feet on or under turning parts.
Never lift or carry a machine whilst the motor is running.
Ensure that the extension cable can move freely at all
times and keep the extension cable away from the blade
unit. You must never run over the extension cable.

Always guide the device with both hands on the
handlebar.
Stop the device and disconnect it from the power supply
· whenever you leave the lawnmower
· before removing blockages

In the event of a blockage, switch the device o immedi-
ately and wait until the machine has stopped complete-
ly. Then remove the object. Use protective gloves when
handling the blades.
Wear personal protective equipment. Wear solid shoes
and long trousers. Do not operate the machine with bare
feet or with open sandals.
The ON/OFF switch and safety switch must not be
locked.
All protection covers and safety devices must be correct-
ly attached to operate the device.
Before each use, check (visual inspection) the
blade unit and its xing devices for any damage.
In order to avoid imbalance, worn or damaged
parts and xing bolts may only be replaced as a
set.
The appliance must not be used if damaged
or safety equipment is defective. Replace any
worn-out and damaged parts.
If the appliance starts abnormally vibrating, switch the
engine o and search for the cause immediately. Gene-
rally, vibrations are a warning against operating failure.
