ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these safety instructions before use and
keep them carefully.
! - This symbol indicates the risk of injury or damage
to the device.
! If the instructions given in this manual are not
followed, there is a risk of injury.
! The electro-pneumatic hammer drill complies with
valid technical regulations and standards.
Always use the additional handle (3) when working
with this tool.
! When using electric tools, always wear safety
glasses in accordance with standards or other
suitable eye protection / e.g. the protective shield/.
Wear a dust mask or respirator in areas where dust
is generated. Safety glasses or other eye protection
will repel fragments of material that could endanger
your face or eyes. Animal dust or gases released from
drilled material (e.g. asbestos-insulated pipes, radon)
can cause respiratory problems.
- Use protective equipment against noise, dust and
vibrations !!!

USE AND OPERATION
ASIST tools are intended for home or hobby use only.
The manufacturer and importer do not recommend
using this tool in extreme conditions and under heavy
loads.
Any other additional requirements must be subject
to agreement between the manufacturer and the
customer.
! Work breaks must be observed when working with
tools.
The time span between work and break depends on
the difficulty of the work, the load on the device and
the hardness of the material. In general, the harder
the material, the shorter the work cycles and the more
work breaks should be.
! Failure to observe work breaks can lead to irrever-
sible damage to the tool.
! Always make sure there is enough grease in the
gear before use.
Before starting work, always check the work area for
hidden electrical cables, gas and water pipes, e.g.
use a metal detector.
Always use the correct supply voltage!
The electrical supply specification on the identification
plate must correspond to the supply voltage.
The tool must always be firmly seated.
The power cord must be routed from the back of the
tool and far enough away from the tool.
Use the additional handle (3) when working with this
tool.
Always hold this tool firmly and stand in a stable
position.
If the force exerted on the tool is too great, it will have
a negative effect on the boring efficiency and on the
service life of the electro-pneumatic hammer drill and
the tool.
If the blade of the drill is dull, it is necessary to shar-
pen it in time, or replace it with a new drill. Otherwise,
the efficiency of boring will be impaired and parts of
the tool may be damaged.
This tool is equipped with a safety clutch. If the drill
becomes stuck or blocked, the safety clutch prevents
the tool from twisting and dropping during work
