Troubleshooting
Trouble or fault
The multi-function LED flashes alter-
nately red and green.
The multi-function LED does not show
when the power tool is switched on.
The multi-function LED on the sander
shows red, speed drops slightly.
The multi-function LED on the sander
shows red and the speed of the sander
drops to 4000 rpm while sanding is in
progress.
The seal on the backing pad does not
work.
The sander has stopped and the multi-
function LED shows red.
Disposal
Most of the materials from which Hilti tools and appliances are manufactured can be recycled. The materials must be correctly separated
before they can be recycled. In many countries, your old tools, machines or appliances can be returned to Hilti for recycling. Ask Hilti Service

Action to be taken

Connect the power tool to a power outlet
that delivers the correct voltage for the
power tool.

Connect the supply cord correctly.

Apply less pressure to the power tool; the

back to green.

Apply less pressure for a moment to allow
speed to increase.
▶
Check the seal and the spindle bearing;
replace as necessary.

Wait until the power tool has cooled down.
