This menu contains a number of setting parameters
that enable the user to adjust the A/C cycle to suit
his or her needs. These parameters affect both
the duration and precision of service. We strongly
recommend that you read the following paragraphs
carefully before modifying these values.
Recovery test
The parameter defines the length of the CONTROL period during the RECOVERY cycle.The
RECOVERY cycle alternates periods of actual refrigerant recovery when the internal compressor
is on, with control periods when the compressor is off and the system is checking for pressure
build-up.Setting this parameter to a shorter duration may result in a shorter RECOVERY cycle, but
more refrigerant will leak during the vacuum cycle. The recommended value for this parameter is
3 minutes. The minimum value is 1 minute.
Leak control
After a VACUUM cycle, a VACUUM TEST cycle is automatically executed. Vacuum pressure
verification tests will remain stable near -1,000 mbar. The cycle stops if a significant increase in
pressure is detected. The parameter defines the duration of the test. A value of zero means that
the test will be ignored.
