9. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION ECLIPS GOURMET, -PLUS OR DEPOT

Assembly
The oven or the baking section on and/or the wood section under the Eclips are assem-
bled using the bolts supplied as shown in figure E.
Use
The Eclips oven may only be used if the stove has been lit for at least 1 hour. Before this
time, the temperature in the oven is too low. We recommend that you use a suitable oven
thermometer when using the oven. In order to achieve the highest possible temperature in
the oven, you must burn the stove at maximum power and open the bypass valve. Always
use the mitten supplied when opening the oven door.
Oven/heat retaining area maintenance.
If heavily polluted, the bottom of the oven can be cleaned using wire wool or fine sand-
paper (grain 100).Also see the instructions given in "Maintenance".
Faults and problems
Since all the heat in the oven is produced at the bottom, it is not possible to bake bread,
to grill or to cook dishes au gratin.
