Distance to walls, furniture and other materials
The stove must not be positioned within a distance of 40 centimetres of flammable mate-
rials. The rear of the stove must be at least 20 centimetres from any non-flammable mate-
rial for the purpose of heat convection and the supply of air. See figure A. The recom-
mended minimum distance to furniture is 2 metres.
Changing the rear or top connection
For the Altech Eclips, the stove connection can be changed from the standard top connec-
tion to a rear connection. The procedure shown in figure B must be followed to change
the connection. Make sure the rosette does not fall. Only one of the two bolts used to
keep the rear plate in place may be removed at any one time. If in doubt, contact your
Altech dealer.
Checking the separate parts
Before using for the first time, check whether all the separate parts in the stove are in the
correct position and the stove isn't damaged.
