OPERATION (fig. A)
Thermostatic mixers:
• In position , the sequential thermostatic mixer is closed.
• When the control lever  is turned clockwise, the mixer will start to deliver cold water at the
temperature of the cold water supply in position . Continue turning the control lever 
and the water will get progressively hotter up to position , which is the maximum hot water position.
• The maximum temperature is pre-set at the factory between 39°C and 41°C with the following
parameters: hot and cold water pressures are balanced at 3 bar dynamic pressure; hot water
temperature at 65°C +/- 5°C; and cold water temperature at 15°C +/-5°C.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Ø 35mm and Ø 40mm Ceramic cartridges and Pressure-balancing cartridges (Fig. E):
• Ø 35mm for 2599(EP) models: flow rate limited to 7 lpm at 3 bar (±1).
• Ø 40mm for 2211(EP) models: flow rate limited to 7 lpm at 3 bar (±1).
H9612 Thermostatic cartridge:
• Mixed water temperature at 39°C at 3 bar pressure: 3 lpm (±1).
Mixed water temperature at 39°C at 1 bar pressure: 2.4 lpm (±1).
If the pressure is 0.5 bar, the flow rate will be 1.8 lpm.
H9613 Thermostatic cartridges:
• Mixed water temperature 39°C at 3 bar pressure: 7 lpm (±1).
Mixed water temperature 39°C at 1 bar pressure: 5.5 lpm (±1).
If the pressure is at 0.5 bar, the flow rate will be 4 lpm.
• Safety: If the cold or hot water supply fails, the mixed water will shut off within 2 seconds.
The anti-scalding safety is active if the temperature differential between the hot water and mixed water
is more than 15°C.
When using a filtration device or similar system at the spout outlet or shower head, the flow rate must be
higher than 4 litres per minute to avoid cross flow between the hot and cold water.
INSTALLATION
Mechanical mixers:
• Supply with cold and hot water, with a maximum temperature difference of 50°C between the hot
and cold water (we recommend 45°C), and balance the pressure ( P < 1 bar).
• Maximum supply pressure is 10 bar (we recommend 1 to 5 bar dynamic pressure).
Thermostatic mixers:
• HW supply temperature: 55 - 70°C (the differential between the hot water and the cold water must be
at least 50°C).
• CW supply temperature: 5 - 20°C.
• To ensure the mixer functions correctly, balance the hot and cold water pressure ( P<1 bar).
• Recommended pressure: 3 bar. Maximum pressure: 5 bar.
INSTALLING THE MIXERS (Fig. B, C & D)
• Drill a hole on the washbasin mounting surface  and mount the mixer (Fig. C).
• Tighten the 2 screws  onto the flange . Ensure a suitable waterproof seal between the mixer
and the work plan appropriate to the type of installation.
• For reference 2597, fasten the nut directly to the bottom of the fixing (Fig. D).
• Connect the mixer to the supply pipes making sure the hot and cold water supplies are connected
to the correct sides.
