When the grass trimmer is not in use and before
conducting any maintenance work or replacing
accessories, unplug the power cord from the socket.
The grass trimmer has been designed to work over an
extended period of time with minimal maintenance.
1. Turn the product upside down to access the trimmer
head;
2. Hold the trimmer head (1) with one hand and, with the
other hand, unscrew the cap counterclockwise and
remove it;
When removing the cap and spool, be aware that
there is a spring inside the head that can easily be
lost.
3. Remove the line spool and spring from the trimmer head;
4. Clean the box before placing a new spool of the same
type;
5. Pull a cutting line from the new spool with a length of
about 13 cm;
6. Release the cutting line from the notches and hold it in
position. Make sure that the cutting line does not come
off the spool;
7. Pass the end of the cutting line through the eyelet of the
box;
8. Repeat the previous steps (5 to 7) to pass the other
cutting line through the other eyelet;
9. Place the line spool in the box;
10. Press the line spool together with the cap against the
spring and turn the assembly until it locks in place.
1. Remove any remaining line ends from the line spool;
2. Clean the cap and the line spool;
3. Cut two new cutting lines with a length of 3 metres and
a diameter of 1.4 mm;
4. Pass one end of the new cutting lines through the small
eyelet in the spool;
5. Insert two cutting lines all the way through and fold
them;
6. Wrap all the cutting lines tightly around the spool in the
direction of the arrow.
Cleaning
Clean all the components of the grass trimmer after each
use. Wipe the grass trimmer with a clean, damp cloth or
blow it with compressed air at low pressure. Careful
handling protects the power tool and extends its service
life.
The power tool and its ventilation slots must be kept clean.
Clean the ventilation slots regularly or whenever they
become blocked.
Storage
When not in use, store the grass trimmer in a dry, clean
place, free from corrosive vapours and out of the reach of
children. Remove the battery when storing the grass
trimmer.
The packaging is made up of recyclable materials,
which you can dispose on local recycling points.
Never dispose of power tools with your household
waste!
According to the European Directive 2012/19/EC on
electrical and electronic equipment waste and its
transposition into national law, power tools must be
collected separately and delivered to the collection sites
provided for this purpose.
