To avoid accidents, you should also take into consideration
the following precautions and procedures:
▪ When operating the grass trimmer, adopt a stable
position and always keep your balance. Hold the grass
trimmer firmly to ensure continuous operation and to
withstand unexpected situations.
If the rotating accessory jams, switch off the power tool
immediately.
▪ Make sure that the ventilation slots are not clogged. Do
not place any objects over the ventilation slots.
Before starting any cleaning, adjustment, repair, or
maintenance tasks, remove the battery from the power tool.
Replace worn out or damaged parts immediately, so that
the power tool is always in a safe operating condition.
Cleaning:
Always keep the power tool clean and dry, free from oil,
lubricants, or grease. Clean all the power tool's
components and accessories after each use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These products
may damage plastics and metals, compromising the safe
operation of the power tool.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance work described in this instruction
manual may be conducted, all other work must be done by
an official dealer.
Keep all nuts and bolts well tightened to ensure a safe
operation.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance work, they must be repositioned immediately
and correctly.
Use only VITO-approved accessories for this power tool or
technically identical parts. Failure to do so may result in
personal injuries or damages to the power tool. If in doubt
or if you lack knowledge or resources, you should contact
an official dealer.
The power tool should only be serviced by the brand's
technical assistance centre, or other qualified personnel,
replacing any necessary parts with original ones.
1. Insert the end with the handle (4) into the shaft (2) and
tighten with 2 screws;
2. Insert the end with the trimmer head (1) into the shaft
and tighten with 2 screws.
1. Attach the guard (7) to the grass trimmer, paying
attention to the grooves;
2. Insert the screw and tighten.
When using the grass trimmer, you should take certain
precautions and procedures into account to avoid
accidents, damage and increase the efficiency of the grass
trimmer:
▪ Always hold the grass trimmer with both hands;
▪ When the switch is not being pressed, the trimmer head
does not rotate. Otherwise, contact technical assistance
to conduct an inspection and resolve the problem;
▪ If you hear an unusual noise or the grass trimmer
vibrates abnormally, stop working and identify the
cause;
▪ Never use a damaged grass trimmer.
To turn the grass trimmer on, press the ON/OFF switch (5).
To stop the grass trimmer, simply release the ON/OFF
switch.
Hold the grass trimmer in front of your body at an inclined
angle and steer in a semi-circular motion.
The grass trimmer performs well on grass with a height of
15 cm. If you are mowing taller grass, do it gradually.
