1. Press the locking tabs and remove the mowing head
cover;
2. Remove the reel from the cover and remove the existing
line;
3. Prepare about 3m of nylon line and fold it in half;
4. Fix the line in the slot of the central spacer of the reel;
5. Wind the two ends in parallel, one on each side of the
central spacer, clockwise (arrow shown on the reel);
6. Attach the ends of the line to the outer fixing slots of the
reel;
7. Insert the reel into the mowing head cover;
8. Release the line from the fixing slots and insert the ends
of the line into the slots of the cover;
9. Place the mowing head cover.
Always use the shoulder harness strap when operating the
brush cutter.
1. Attach the shoulder harness strap hook (10) to the clip
of the brush cutter;
2. Adjust the harness so that the left hand can comfortably
hold the handles at approximately waist height;
3. Make sure shoulder harness is properly attached.
When using the brush cutter, you should take into
consideration some precautions and use procedures in
order to avoid accidents, damage and increase the
performance of the equipment:
▪ Always hold the brush cutter on your right side with both
hands;
▪ Keep the cutting attachments below waist level, thus
reducing the risk of being hit during operation;
▪ Do not use the appliance to cut branches or logs. If you
try to cut logs above the recommended size, kickback
can occur and cause accidents to the user;
▪ If you hear an unusual noise or the brush cutter vibrates
abnormally, stop working and identify the cause;
▪ Never use the brush cutter if the guard is not placed or if
it is damaged.
1. Press the trigger unlock button (6) and the trigger (3) to
start the motor;
2. Release the trigger to stop the motor.
The brush cutter is equipped with a reverse rotation button
(5). As the name indicates, this button is used to reverse
the rotation of the motor in order to remove grass clippings
accumulated on the blade or mowing head.
When this button is pressed the brush cutter will emit an
alarm.
To activate the reverse rotation, simply press the reverse
rotation button and proceed as in point 1 (mentioned
above). After 2 seconds the reverse rotation stops
automatically and the brush cutter operates normally.
