1. Insert the batteries (8) on the groove and slip them all
the way until you hear a "click" noise from the
lock/unlock button. At this point, the battery is locked in
place;
2. To remove the battery, press the lock/unlock button and
pull out the battery.
Use VITO 20V lithium-ion batteries.
1. Place the batteries in the charger in the same way as you
would place it in the appliance;
2. Plug the charger into the socket and let it charge.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the batteries and
the charger can be hot, which doesn't mean they
malfunction.
Let the battery cool down before putting it in the cordless
split brush cutter.
1. Loosen the handlebar tightening bolt (12);
2. While holding the bottom of the bracket, remove the bolt
and the top of the bracket;
3. Place the handlebar in the bracket;
4. Refit the upper part of the bracket and the bolt;
5. Tighten the bolt.
Adjust the handlebar before tightening the bolt
completely.
1. Unscrew the wing bolt;
2. Insert the front shaft (3) into the brush cutter main body
(9);
3. Retighten the wing bolt.
The guard avoids the projection of loose objects and
accidental contact of the blade or nylon line with the user.
1. Attach (14) the guard to the shaft and tighten the 3
screws;
2. Secure the edge of the guard, using the 3 screws.
The guard does not protect the user against all
objects (stones, glass, wire, etc) that fly off from the
cutting attachment. These objects can bounce off and hit
the user.
Check the blade condition before installing it to the
appliance. If it is damaged (cracked, bent or broken)
replace it.
1. Place the locking washer on the shaft;
2. Place the thrust plate;
3. Insert the blade (1) and the support cup (15);
4. Turn the blade shaft until the hole of the lock washer is
aligned with the protective cover;
5. Insert the locking pin into the hole to lock the shaft;
6. Place the lock nut on. To tighten the nut, turn the wrench
in the opposite direction to the direction of rotation;
7. Remove the locking pin after having finished the
installation.

5. Screw the mowing head in the opposite direction to the
direction of rotation;
