■ Never use the device without the thermo cup / ceramic cup or if the respective cup
is damaged.
■ Do not place the thermo cup / ceramic cup on the hot plates (e.g. of other coffee
makers), stoves, ovens etc. to prevent damage.
■ Use only the accessories included in the items supplied or recommended by the
manufacturer.
■ Do not place the device below kitchen wall units or similar cupboards. The rising
steam could cause damage to them!
■ Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
■ Do not pull or carry the device by the cable.
■ Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature variations,
moisture, wet conditions or direct sunlight.
■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These can
damage the surface.
Notes on Hygiene
■ There may still be some production residues on the device and the accessories. To
avoid harmful effects to your health, clean the device and all accessories before you
use them for the fi rst time. It is essential that you follow the cleaning instructions in
the "Care and Descaling" chapter.
