ERGONOMIC RECOMMENDATIONS
Ergonomic, the ERGO COMFORT SILENCE range
has been designed to facilitate and improve user
comfort when vacuuming.
To prevent bending over and to ensure upright
posture, make sure you:
1. Adjust the length of the ERGO COMFORT SILENCE
telescopic metal tube to your body size (fig.6).
2. Place your other hand in front of the ERGO
COMFORT grip handle (fig.7).
Fit the required accessory on to the end of the telescopic
metal tube or the grip:
- For rugs and carpets : use the 2-position nozzle (19) on
carpet position (brush retracted) or turbo brush* (fibres and
animal hair).
- For hard flat floors and hard flat floors with crevices (such
as tiled floors): use the 2-position nozzle (19) on hard floor
position (brush extended) or, for better results, use the hard
flat floor nozzle* (22a*) without the removable brush.
- For fragile hard flat floors, such as parquet, it is
recommended to use the hard flat floor nozzle (19*) or
(22b*).
IMPORTANT:
The nozzle for hard flat floor with crevices 22a* is
used to measure performance associated to the
energy label. This nozzle allows you to optimize the
dust-collection performance of your appliance on
hard flat floors with crevices.
* Depending on models: either equipment specific to cer-
tain models or available as an optional accessory.
- For corners and hard-to-reach areas: use the telescopic
crevice nozzle*.
- For upholstery and delicate surfaces: use the brush with
the grip (EASY BRUSH) or the upholstery nozzle*.
IMPORTANT: Always switch off and unplug your
vacuum cleaner before changing the accessories.
