DEWATERING ELECTRIC PUMP XKS-P/PW SERIES
•
When operating a pump outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord
suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
•
The pump is equipped with a compatible plug. The power supply in your country must comply with
international regulations.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.
WARNING: Unsuitable extension cords can be dangerous. If an extension cord is used, it must be
suitable for outdoor use and the connection must be kept dry and off the ground. It is recommended
that this is done using a cable reel that keeps the plug at least 60mm from the ground.
5. MAINTENANCE
•
In case of temporary installation, the pump must be cleaned with clean water after use.
•
In case of permanent installation, it is necessary to check every 3 months that the starting mecha-
nism (float switch or sensor) is working properly.
•
Periodically remove any dirt that may accumulate in the crankcase.
•
Do not expose to frost.
•
Avoid dry running.
•
Do not mistreat the cable. Never use the cable to carry, pull or unplug the pump.
•
Clean the pump regularly if the suctioned liquid produces sediments.
•
Avoid knocks, do not drop the pump.
