OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
DEWATERING ELECTRIC PUMP XKS-P/PW SERIES
3.2 - Manual mode of the level switch:
The pump can remain constantly running because it is switched on manually by lifting the level switch
(4) as shown in the figure below.
1. Place the pump on a firm surface and use the rope tied through the hole in the displacement.
(6) to immerse the pump in a well or fountain.
2. Connect the power cable (3) to the main plug.
3. Fix the level switch (4) vertically as shown in the figure on the right, with the cable side at the bottom.
As long as the level switch is positioned vertically with the cable on the button, the pump will operate
independently of the water level.
During this process, air escapes through the plastic connector of the pump and you will see air bubbles
appear under the water. This is not a defect in your pump, but serves to vent the pump and will remove
any remaining air inside the pump. It may take several seconds of snubbing when the pump is first
submerged.
Note:
The position of the outlet hole may be different depending on which models. The main power
cables must not have a smaller cross-section than the rubber sheathed cables with the designation
H05RN-F and the designation H07RN-F.
4. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
•
The plug on the pump cable must match the socket. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use
any adapter plugs. Unmodified plugs and matching plugs will reduce the risk of electric shock.
•
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces.
•
Do not abuse cord. Never use cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging pump. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric
shock.
