Installation
The device has been prepared for installation in conven-
tional flush-mounted (FM) device boxes together with the
retaining ring (Fig. 1, Pos. 1) of the Bus Coupler.
Connect the Bus Coupler, at the back, to the EIB bus line
via a 2-pole plug-in terminal (Art. No. 6183-500).
Pay attention to correct poling (red= +; grey= – ).
Leave the unused core pair in the FM device box as
reserve. Screw the Bus Coupler into the FM device box in
such a way that the blue socket (Pos. 3) for connection of
the application is on the left.
ATTENTION
Soiling of the 10-pole socket (Pos. 3) and/or the pro-
gramming pushbutton (Pos. 4) (e.g., as a result of
painting work) can lead to destruction of the Bus
Coupler.
