Reinsert the rod, taking care to match it with the corresponding grooves, then replace
the bolt and tighten it moderately by turning it clockwise.
Check that the ignition switch is in the "0" position, then connect the electrical plug to
a wall socket with a regular upstream earth leakage circuit breaker.
Ensure that the cord does not come into contact with hot parts and that it is not
subjected to excessive bending or kinking.

USING THE APPLIANCE
Once assembled as described in chapters 3 and 4, the appliance is immediately
operational. Follow the steps below to make popcorn.
12) Using the appropriate scoops, place the popcorn corn and oil on the cooking
plate, then add the desired flavourings (butter, salt, spices, cocoa, etc.).
13) For each full scoop of corn, use one full scoop of oil, without exceeding the
maximum amount of 4 scoops of corn and 4 scoops of oil
14) Place the lid in position on top of the cooking plate, making sure that it fits
into the corresponding groove along the perimeter of the plate.
15) Start the appliance by pressing the on switch to position "1".
16) Within about 1:30 minutes, the corn will begin to expand, producing the
characteristic "pop"; remove the plug from the lid when the corn begins to
expand, to help the steam escape
17) Preparation is usually complete when more than 10 seconds elapse between
two successive "pops"; corn that has not expanded is usually considered
waste since further heating would give rise to a preparation with a bitter taste
and poor organoleptic properties. A small amount of waste is normal with
each popcorn preparation.
18) Preparation is in any case complete 5 minutes after starting the appliance.
19) At the end of the preparation, turn off the appliance immediately by setting
the switch to the "0" position, avoiding making it work any further, especially
if it is empty.
20) Remove the lid and replace the cap on top of it, then turn it upside down and
place it on a flat and stable surface in order to contain the prepared popcorn.
21) Disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet.
22) Wearing oven gloves or thermal gloves, lift the body of the appliance and
pour the prepared popcorn into the upside down lid, which now acts as a
container.
