Removing the ball-joint
Open the screw cover 8. Undo the counter-nut 7 by turning it anti-clockwise. Undo the screw 1 with a 4mm allen key – it also
turns anti-clockwise. Please ensure that the square nut 6 is not pushed out of the frame. You can now remove the shoulder straps
3 and adjust the pack to the correct back length. Remember to move the 'ball' 4. (see table left and fig 2. for more information).
