following points:
1. Please ensure that the square nut 6 sits properly in the frame.
2. Turn the screw clockwise using a 4mm allen key.
3. IMPORTANT: Tighten the screw only enough to allow the joint to move freely without play.
Over-tightening will damage the frame.

5. Close the screw cover 8.
6. Check periodically to ensure that the the screw and nut are sitting correctly.

4. Cleaning and maintenance
Clean and dry your pack after each use to keep it in top condition. Use only luke warm water and a soft sponge. Wipe the pack
internally with a damp cloth – this protects the coating on the fabric. Do not use hot water, bleach, washing up liquid, solvents,
paint or stain removers. For stubborn stains use a detergent free soap. Use of solvents on your backpack could damage the zip
fastener, the frame material or the water resistant coating irreparably. Failure to follow these instructions will result in an invalidated
warranty. To dry, hang the open pack in a cool, dry, well ventilated place out of direct sunlight. The backpack may not be machine
washed or dried.
Caution
The fabric is water resistant, however are not completely water proof. In heavy rain, please use the built in rain cover. Electronics
are carried at the users own risk, and should be protected separately where possible.
Storage
Never put an Ergon backpack away wet or dirty. This could lead to mould – which can damage the fabrics and cause unpleasant
smells. Store the pack in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Do not store the pack for extended periods with the frame in a
bent or twisted position. Do not place heavy objects on your Ergon Backpack.
