CLEANING AND STORAGE

Please Note!
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.
Regularly dust the device and the
remote control. Wipe off any sweat
and dirt with a clean, damp cloth and
a cleaning agent or disinfectant if
necessary.
Store the device and the remote
control in a dry, frost-free place that is
protected from direct sunlight.
Also store the remote control out
of the reach of young children and
animals.

MAINTENANCE

Please Note!
Do not leave a tool lying around
unattended in the presence of
children and animals. There is a
danger of injury.
There must be nobody on the device
during maintenance.
The belt (1) must be regularly lubricated
and adjusted or retightened if necessary
to ensure that the device works properly.
It may be damaged through a lack of or
insufficient care.
Adjusting the Belt Tension
The belt (1) may be stretched through
frequent use and start to slip. You can
tell this is happening if it jolts during use,
for example. If the belt slips, it must be
tightened as follows:
1. Start the device and set a medium
speed.
2. Use the hex key that is supplied
to turn the right and left adjusting
screw (2) clockwise by a ¼ turn in
each case. Both adjusting screws
must be turned by the same amount
so that the belt remains centred.
3. Test the treadmill. If the slipping still
persists, repeat step 2 and test again.
Only tighten the adjusting screws as
much as required! Overtensioning the
belt may damage the device in the long
run. In the event of overtensioning, turn
the adjusting screws anticlockwise to
release the tension.
Aligning the Belt
The belt (1) must always be centred.
However, the belt may drift to the side
depending on the level of loading. If
it does not automatically centre again
once you get off the device, it must be
aligned with the hex key that is supplied
as follows:
1. Start the device and set a medium
speed.
2. Stand behind the device to work out
in which direction the belt is drifting.
3. If the belt is drifting to the right, turn
the right adjusting screw (2) a ¼ turn
clockwise and the left adjusting screw
a ¼ turn anticlockwise.
If the belt is drifting to the left, turn
the left adjusting screw a ¼ turn
clockwise and the right adjusting
screw a ¼ turn anticlockwise.
4. Watch how the belt runs. Repeat step
3 if necessary.
