INSTALLATION
UNPACKING YOUR ICE MAKER
1.
Remove the exterior and interior packaging. Check that all accessories are
inside. If any parts are missing, please contact customer service.
2.
Remove stabilizing tape from door and inner cabinet, ice scoop, etc. Clean
the inner cabinet and ice scoop with wet cloth.
3.
Place the ice maker on a flat and level area of the floor away from direct
sunlight and other sources of heat (stove, furnace, radiator, etc.). Ensure
that there is at least a 2 ft. gap between the unit's air outlet and any
obstructions, and at least 2 inches between the unit and the wall.
4.
Before plugging in the icemaker, let it stand upright for approximately 4
hours. Doing this will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling
system from handling during transportation.
5.
The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
6.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
7.
Install the door handle (see detailed instructions on the following page).
WARNING: connect unit to a potable water supply only. Only use drinking
water to supply your ice maker.
