9. Care and maintenance
In order to ensure reliable watering of your system, the filter and the watering computer require
occasional maintenance and cleaning.
Before you carry out maintenance and cleaning work, you must switch off the system at the main
switch.
Cleaning the filter:
1. To be able to clean the filter, pull the suction hose (1) off the
water filter (2).
2. Then pull the water level sensor (5) off the side of the water filter
(2) and clean the sensor points with clear water.
3. Turn the lower cap (4) clockwise from the filter housing (2) and
remove it.
4. You can now remove the filter sponge (3) from the filter housing
(2) and clean it with clear water!
Then reassemble the filter in reverse order.
Cleaning the control unit:
After the filter has been cleaned, the watering computer is next. To do this, pull the pressure hose
off the "WATER OUTLET" connection of the watering computer.
1. Fill a bucket with approx. 20 litres of clean tap water and place the filter with the water level
sensor in the bucket.
2. Then switch on the irrigation system at the main switch "SYSTEM ON/OFF".
3. Press the "TEST MODE" membrane button. Now the watering computer starts to pump the
clean water and cleans itself. Let the system pump water through the dry run protection until it
switches off.
4. If possible, clean your water tank and fill it up with clear tap water.
5. Then push the pressure hose back onto the "WATER OUTLET" connection. Put the filter with
water level sensor back into your water tank.
6. Press the membrane button "TEST MODE" and wait until the air has escaped from the sys-
tem. Then press the membrane button "TEST MODE" again.
7. Now set the desired watering time again using the "MODE SELECT" membrane button (see
point 7.5).
The system is now completely cleaned and ready for operation again!

Please also note the care and maintenance instructions for the individual drip or spray
nozzles!
