tinuously. The pump immediately starts pumping at the currently set time. If the pump then
switches off, the system goes into automatic mode and it automatically irrigates in the evening
and morning with the set irrigation time. The times can be changed at any time by pressing
again.
Note: The prerequisite for commissioning the system is a filled water tank and the water filter
with water level sensor must be submerged in the water.
Cover note: Please close the cover of the LEDs and buttons carefully after each setting. If the
cover is not closed, splashes of water that hit the membrane buttons can unintentionally change
the settings.
8. Battery change
After 2-3 years, the built-in battery pack has reached the end of its service life and must be
replaced. Only an identical replacement battery may be used. Please proceed as follows when
changing:
1. Please switch off the device at the bottom of the main switch "SYSTEM ON/OFF".
2. Unplug all hoses and plugs from the control unit, unscrew the 8 screws on the back of the
control unit and remove the cover (Fig. 7).
3. Now unplug the battery pack from the circuit board. Remove the used battery pack (Fig. 8) and
replace it with an identical battery pack (replacement item no.: 901038 (www.esotec.de)
4. Now close the cover again and screw the 8 screws back into the housing. Then reconnect all
hoses and plugs to the system.
5. Now switch the system on again at the main switch "SYSTEM ON/OFF" and select the de-
sired watering time with the "MODE SELECT" button.
6. The solar irrigation system is now ready for operation again.

Note: Used batteries must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner and do not be-
long in the household waste. Your dealer is legally obliged to take back old batteries.
