7. The irrigation computer
Control elements:
1. On / Off switch (System ON / OFF)
(Fig. 5 / No.1)
This switch is used to switch the watering
computer on or off. If this button is pressed
when switching on, all LEDs flash briefly and
the settings can be made on the touch control
panel under the flap using the membrane but-
tons "MODE SELECT" and "TEST MODE".
The touch control panel and LED displays
(Fig. 6):
1. SYSTEM
The system light shows whether the system is
switched on or off and is ready for operation.
This display can have 2 different colours.
Green: The system is ready for use.
Red: The battery is discharged. The system is switched off to protect the battery. After charging
the battery, the display switches to green and the system starts again by itself.
2. CHARGING
Lights up as soon as the battery is charged via the solar module. If the battery is fully charged,
the display flashes for approx. 1 hour. When this phase is over, this display goes out.
3. ALARM
This display has a double function:
- Flashing red: The water level in the water tank is too low and the water level sensor has
triggered. In this case, the pump is switched off and water must be refilled.
- Flashing red and the pump pulsates: The automatic pressure control is active. This is the
case if the water pressure in the pressure hose at the outlet becomes too high. In this case
the pump starts pulsing. This is usually the case when a few water drippers or sprayers are
connected and the water flow rate is lower.
4. TEST MODE
If the "TEST MODE" membrane button is pressed, the system starts up without a time limit.
This is particularly useful for the initial start-up and venting of the system. The system only ends
the watering process after pressing the button again.
5. MODE SELECT
This membrane key is used to set the watering time. You can choose between the times
0.5/1/2/4/8 min. And Off. The times are simply selected one after the other by pressing the
membrane button several times. The time set is indicated by a flashing LED next to the time
display. When you have reached the desired time, wait a moment and the LED lights up con-
