Flushing liquid tank, hose and spray lance
1. Fill the liquid tank about one third full with clean water
2. Spray the water until the liquid tank is empty, taking care to aim the spray jet toward an area that cannot
be damaged by chemical residues from the liquid tank.
3. First switch the product off by pressing the OFF button. The operate the on / off switch to depressurize
the hose and the spray lance.
4. Disconnect the hose from the product and from the spray lance.
5. Allow the residual water to drain out of the hose and the spray lance.
6. Allow the liquid tank, hose and spray lance to air-dry from the inside.

Transport and storage
Transport of cordless power tools and batteries
CAUTION
Accidental starting during transport !
▶ Always transport your products with the batteries removed!
▶ Remove the battery/batteries.
▶ Never transport batteries loose and unprotected. During transport, batteries should be protected from
excessive shock and vibration and isolated from any conductive materials or other batteries that may
come in contact with the terminals and cause a short circuit. Comply with the locally applicable
regulations for transporting batteries.
▶ Do not send batteries through the mail. Consult your shipper for instructions on how to ship undamaged
batteries.
▶ Prior to each use and before and after prolonged transport, check the product and the batteries for
damage.
Storage of cordless power tools and batteries
WARNING
Accidental damage caused by defective or leaking batteries !
▶ Always store your products with the batteries removed!
▶ Protect the product from freezing. Store the product, with the tank empty, indoors in a secure, well-
ventilated room.
▶ Store batteries in a cool and dry place. Comply with the temperature limits stated in the technical data

▶ Do not store batteries on the charger. Always remove the battery from the charger when the charging
operation has completed.
▶ Never leave batteries in direct sunlight, on sources of heat, or behind glass.
▶ Store the product and batteries where they cannot be accessed by children or unauthorized persons.
▶ Prior to each use and before and after prolonged storage, check the product and the batteries for
damage.

Troubleshooting
If a problem occurs, always observe the status indicator of the battery. See the section headed Status
indicators of the Liion battery
If the trouble you are experiencing is not listed in this table or you are unable to rectify the problem by
yourself, contact Hilti Service.

Battery faulty.
Very low ambient temperature.
The retaining lug on the battery is

Action to be taken
▶ Contact Hilti Service.
▶ Allow the battery to warm up
slowly to room temperature.
▶ Clean the retaining lug and
