3. Install the Urinal Valve (K-10975 Only)
Install the urinal valve as follows:
Remove the plastic piece inside the inlet arm that holds the nut
secure. Discard the plastic piece.
NOTE: Insert the components in the order specified.
Slide the urinal valve's inlet arm over the control stop outlet tube
and hand-tighten the nut.
Slide the vacuum breaker nut over the bottom of the valve and
hand-tighten the nut.
Adjust the unit for plumb and tighten the valve to the control
stop and the spud coupling nut to the urinal spud using a strap
wrench.
Slide the spud coupling escutcheon over the urinal spud.
Remove the tape covering the sensor eyes.
Turn on the water supply.
4. Verify Valve Function (K-10975 and K-10970)
NOTE: The valve is programmed with a pre-flush feature as well as
a 24-hour cleaning flush feature.
Perform the following checks in order to verify that the urinal valve
operates correctly:
