Fasten the LCD screen mounting
bracket to the main unit at the suitable
position.
Depending on the vehicle, the front-
back position of the LCD screen may
need to be adjusted to mount it. Use the
supplied spacer ( ) if you choose the
front position to install the LCD screen.

* When using the back position to install
the LCD screen without using the supplied
spacer, use the binding head screws (4 mm
× 6 mm).
TIP
The mounting left-center-right position of
the LCD screen mounting bracket can be
changed depending on the vehicle or
installation location of the main unit.

Detach the monitor cover from the
LCD screen ( ), then connect the
monitor cables to the LCD screen ( ).
After that, attach the LCD screen with
adjusting the up-down position ( ) to
this unit by using the screws each side
( ).
Push the monitor cables as far as
possible in this product before
attaching the LCD screen.
CAUTION
Insert the connector with the connector
projection ( ) side facing up. If you force
to insert the connector in upside down, it
may be broken.

Secure the monitor cables to the hook
on the back of the LCD screen then
attach the monitor cover ( ) by using
the screws ( ).

NOTES
• Do not twist or bend the cables in
excess when securing the monitor
cables to the hook on the back of the
LCD screen.
• Be careful not to lose the small screws
(2 mm × 4 mm) for attaching the
monitor cover.
• It is recommended that you use a
magnetic screwdriver when attaching
the monitor cover.
• Two spare screws (2 mm × 4 mm) for
attaching the monitor cover are
included.
• When attaching the monitor cover
( ), tilt the LCD screen moderately
toward the front to facilitate
installation.
Installing the GPS
antenna
CAUTION
Do not cut the GPS antenna lead to
shorten it or use an extension to make it
longer. Altering the antenna cable could
result in a short circuit or malfunction and
permanent damage to this product.
Installation notes
• The antenna should be installed on a
level surface where radio waves will be
blocked as little as possible. Radio waves
cannot be received by the antenna if
reception from the satellite is blocked.

• When installing the GPS antenna inside
the vehicle, be sure to use the metal
sheet provided with your system. If this is
not used, the reception sensitivity will be
poor.
• Do not cut the accessory metal sheet.
This would reduce the sensitivity of the
GPS antenna.
• Take care not to pull the antenna lead
when removing the GPS antenna. The
lead may become detached.
• Do not paint the GPS antenna, as this
may affect its performance.
