Close the back opening with exhaust cover
plate.
Failure to do so may result in fire, electrical
shock or lacerations.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
• Remove and discard existing plastic or metal foil
duct and replace with UL-listed duct.
• Remove any lint from the wall exhaust opening.

REMOVE DUCT FROM DRYER
• Remove and save the screw from the tab that holds
the duct to the rear panel.
• Pull the dryer duct out of the dryer.

• Detach and remove the right, left or bottom
knockout from the dryer as desired.

( OPTIONAL )
• The rear heater cover may be removed to aid in
reinstalling the cut internal dryer duct and applying
UL listed aluminum foil tape to the internal duct joints.
