6.4. Mains operation – Connecting the mains adapter
Connect the supplied mains adapter to the V
the back of the device.
Connect the mains adapter to an easily accessible 220–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz power
socket.
The device is mains operated even if batteries are inserted at the same time.
7. Switching on the device/standby
Press the
button to switch on the device. The display lights up.
Press the
button again to return the device to standby mode. The time will be
displayed.
If there is no playback for 15 minutes, the device automatically switches to standby
mode.
8. Volume/mute
To adjust the volume, use the /+ buttons on the remote control or
the device.
Press M U T E to switch off the sound. Press the M U T E button again to cancel
the mute setting.
9. Radio
Press the R A D I O button to switch to radio mode.
9.1. Storing stations automatically
Hold down the A M S button until the station search starts automatically. All the
stations found by the search are stored automatically, one after the other.
Press the T U N I N G or button to stop storing the stations automatically.
10. Playing back CDs and USB storage media
Press the C D / U S B / B T / T A P E / L I N E I N repeatedly until the required
operating mode
– CD or
– USB is shown on the display.
