To do before you start the product
1. Examine the work area. Remove objects that can be
thrown out.
2. Examine the cutting attachment. Make sure that the
blades are sharp, and have no cracks and damages.
3. Make sure that the product works correctly. Examine
that all nuts and screws are tight.
4. Make sure that the handle and safety devices are
not damaged and are attached correctly. Do not
operate a product with missing parts or is changed
from its initial specification. Use protective gloves
when it is necessary.
5. Make sure that the covers are not damaged and are
attached correctly, before you operate the product.
To operate the product

Start near the ground and move the product up
along the hedge when you cut the sides. (Fig. 21)

To do general maintenance
To clean and lubricate the blades
1. Clean the blades from unwanted materials before
and after you use the product.
2. Lubricate the blades before long periods of storage.
Note:
Speak to your servicing dealer for more
information about recommended cleaning agents and
lubricants.

Operation

•
Hold the product near your body for a stable work
position. (Fig. 22)
•
Make sure that the tip of the cutting equipment does
not touch the ground.
•
Be careful and work slowly until all the branches are
correctly cut.
To adjust the angle of the cutting
attachment
The cutting attachment can be adjusted in 6 different
positions.
1. Stop the product and remove the battery. (Fig. 23)
2. Hold the housing (A) tight.
3. Push and hold the lock buttons (B) at the 2 sides of
the housing.
4. Move the cutting attachment to the correct angle.
5. Release the lock buttons at the 2 sides.
6. Move the housing up and down until the cutting
attachment locks in position.
To examine the blades
1. Clean the blades from unwanted materials with an
anti-corrosion cleaning agent before and after you
use the product.
2. Examine the edges of the blades for damages and
deformation.
3. Use a file to remove burrs on the blades.
4. Make sure that the blades can move freely.
