8. Charging the device
The integrated battery can be charged using the USB-C port,
the dynamo or the solar panel.
The battery charge level is shown on the display.
8.1. Charging using the USB-C cable
To charge the battery, connect the USB-C cable to the
DC IN 5V
a USB mains adapter or USB port with charging function.
8.2. Charging using the dynamo
Fold out the crank fully.
Turn the crank clockwise or anticlockwise.
Turn the crank smoothly at 1–2 rotations per
second continuously for several minutes for op-
timal charging of the battery.
If the battery is completely discharged, it may
take 5–6 minutes until the display lights up.
8.3. Charging using the solar panel
Place the device in a bright, preferably sunny location to
charge it.
